Chakras

Standard

In my Reiki practice I often find that people’s chakras are usually weak, wobbly or in some cases, shut down. It doesn’t take but a few minutes to get the 7 main ones spinning again. I’m planning on making a video showing you how to do that and will let you guys know when it’s done.

We humans are literally walking rainbows. Remember ROYGBV or Roy G. BIV when we had to memorize the 7 colors of the rainbow – in order, too? At the time I had no idea that we humans (being part of/connected to/the sum total of the universe) are walking rainbows. Yes, you too!

By the way ROY G BIV stands for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.

If we consciously saw auras – we do see them unconsciously and can give ourselves permission to see them once again on a conscious level – we would see people as they truly are: energetic beings moving around like beautiful colored rainbows of light.

So….Here is a basic example of our energy bodies in combination with the 7 chakras:

auraThis is an excellent illustration because of the visual “roots” coming from the feet, grounding us to the physical earth and the beam of white light coming in from the top of the head.

The colors are as follows (this is very basic! There tons of books and articles on the chakras. Meanings vary slightly. Read them all and discover your own interpretation!)

Red-Base-Sexual
Orange-Sacral-Creativity
Yellow-Solar Plexus-Life Force/our own inner Sun

Green-Heart-Love

Blue-Throat-Communication
Indigo-Third Eye-Intuition/Psychic ability
Violet- Crown Chakra-Connection to the Divine

So what to do?

Being the rock hound and crystal lover that I am I decided to try making a crystal grid for my Sacral Chakra because I want to increase my creativity. I’d love to tell you this idea came to me out of the blue, but that’s not the case. If you are on Facebook, check out Hibiscus Moon’s page. That girls Sacral Chakra is in full spin!

I had plenty of Carnelian (orange) stones on hand, a couple of beautiful pieces of Fire Agate (orange) and an unidentified orange stone I’ve had for many years. I didn’t have any orange candles on hand and since I love candles – to me they add the flavor of magic – I picked up an orange votive at a craft store. Wouldn’t you know…..they had marked down a beautiful, hand-crafted orange pillar from $10 to $1. I just love it when things like that happen! Of course I brought it home and added it to the grid.

Whenever you’re doing anything it is your intention behind it that matters. As I set things in place my intention stayed focused on getting my creativity flowing.

It took me a few days of futzing and putzing and moving and adjusting, adding a stone, taking away a stone until it finally FELT right. To me. Remember, these are highly personal and private affairs. There is no set way of ‘doing it right’ and no set schedule.

I chose to put the grid directly on wood instead of using a table cloth because I wanted the earthiness and grounding of wood.

The two pieces of Fire Agate had to be opposite one another no matter how many times I rearranged it. Yes, stones have consciousness and energy all their own. Just because we humans aren’t aware of it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It simply means we’re not aware of it. Whenever they were side by side the grid felt completely out of balance. <shrug>.

Here’s a picture. I’ve been burning the candles for a few minutes in the morning and a few minutes in the evening, knowing this would stimulate my Sacral Chakra and creativity would begin to flow. I didn’t expect the increase in energy and happiness! What nice side benefits 🙂

Well, the world did not end. I cannot believe there are still folks who are writing about the mysterious giant Planet Nibaru! Unless it pops through from another dimension, I don’t think it’s going to suddenly appear out of no where.

Maybe the world didn’t end, but people seem to be off their rockers – nutters. Grumpy and cross, they seem confused by the fact that they’re still here and they have to get up and go to work, pay the rent, etc. Some are downright angry. Maybe they’re afraid.

We in the west tend to live in a constant state of fear. When we are in that state of fear we cannot think clearly, see clearly or perceive beauty and truth for what it is.

Remember to breathe and breathe deeply. Restore your own connection that is YOURS to the Divine. Take a moment to re-empower yourself.

Here’s a great video that will help bring you back into balance within 2 minutes. It works. Try it for yourself.
